PyroMark Q96 ID

Genetic analysis by real-time sequencing of PCR templates

PyroMark Q96 ID

PyroMark Q96 ID instrument offers quantitative SNP and mutation analysis by rapidly sequencing short stretches of DNA directly from PCR templates, giving a versatile range of genetic analyses based on real sequence data.

Real sequence information in minutes
PyroMark Q96 ID is a multi-application genetic analysis solution that provides sequence information directly from the PCR product. PyroMark Q96 ID uses a standard 96-well format and sequences up to 96 samples in parallel, integrating elegantly with laboratories’ existing PCR protocols and instruments. The system has a short learning curve; PyroMark ID is up and running in one day with minimal training. PyroMark Q96 ID instrument employs Pyrosequencing to provide true sequence data in as little time as 10 minutes. PyroMark Q96 ID comes with dedicated software for automatic base calling and quality control of the obtained DNA sequence, genotyping of SNPs, insertions, and deletions, as well as quantification capabilities.

PyroMark IDVersatile system

  • One complete solution to perform many different kinds of genetic analyses – see Table 1 for examples.

  • Flexible run setup – analyze one assay with up to 96 individual samples or up to 96 different assays in one plate.

Some of the genetic analyses that PyroMark Q96 ID can address using the rapid, reliable and quantitative sequencing provided by Pyrosequencing technology are shown below.
