Deletion sequences in peptide chemistry can be difficult to separate because they are very similar to intended products. HPLC has previously been assumed to be the only effective method for these separations. We have shown in a sequence of related works that flash can be used for some of these cases. Typical flash uses UV to differentiate products, and since many deletion sequences have near-identical UV profiles to the product, it becomes a real challenge. Isolera Dalton cuts through that and targets the actual mass of the products, so it doesn’t matter how good/bad the UV signal is, you still get your desired fraction, and in higher purity than otherwise expected.
